”Jesus is Mine” - Covenant Language

The phrase “Jesus is Mine” recalls covenant language found throughout Scripture.

Song of Solomon 2:16: “My beloved is mine, and I am his.”
Song of Solomon 6:3: “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.”
Ezekiel 16:8: “I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord GOD, and you became mine.”
Leviticus 26:13: “I will be your God, and you shall be my people.”
Leviticus 20:26: “You shall be holy to me… that you should be mine.”
Hosea 1:9-10: “You are not my people, and I am not your God” → “Children of the living God”
Jeremiah 31:31-34: The new covenant - “I will be their God, and they shall be my people”
